Angela’s experience with resilience came at the young age of 15 when her mom tragically died in a car accident. She relied heavily on her Christian Catholic faith to find meaning and strength amid her devastating loss. Her resilience was further tested when her first born son, Nathan, died in her arms after living 40 meaning-filled hours. People often inquired about her ability to move forward after experiencing such loss. After teaming with Rod, a professional colleague, their shared resilience focus gained intensity and, after extensive development, Resilience Land and its featured attraction – the Resilience Tree™ – emerged from their collaborative work.
Angela actively seeks and works toward establishing an integrative life, committed to living her mission from “the inside out”. This focus allows her to invest a substantial portion of her time and talent devoted to her family as well as devoted to her work. She is constantly amazed at the lessons she learns as a wife and mother of four, that she can apply to her work and those from work that benefit her family. Angela, her husband Elliott, and their children Grace, Nicolas, and Gianna currently live in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
